The way we reach out to the community is through our events which aim to promote anime, manga, and Japanese culture to the Treasure Coast community.

Anime on the Weekend
AotW is where members of JASTC meet up once a month to watch anime, japanese dramas, music videos, and get together on similar topics. These are free events where anyone is invited to come and join in on the fun.

This is our largest event, an once a year convention for the community where everyone can get together to have fun and learn about Japanese culture through panels, workshops, and interactive events. This convention is purely put together by volunteer effort and is held around May or June of every year for a two day weekend.

JASTC Christmas Party
The JASTC Christmas Party is an annual party held at the community center where we get together and celebrate the season with secret santa, cake, video games, anime, and music. It is also a fund raiser for JASTC to hold future events. This event usually costs 2 dollars.

Previous Events

Houkocon
Houkocon was a successful small time convention held on the Treasure Coast in 2006. It's primary focus was providing fun for the community's youth through the celebration of anime, manga, and video games. It had such events as Cosplay, Video Game Tournaments, Panels, Interactive Events, Karaoke, and many other things on a two day weekend in June.
